Heechul cleared the air once again that he and Son Dam Bi are just friends after causing confusion by labeling each other, "my man" and "my woman", during a phone call on 'Human Condition' on the episode aired on the 14th.

With rumors rising of the two being lovers thanks to the broadcast as well as frequent photos of the two together posted on his Instagram, Heechul spoke to Star News on the 17th to put down any confusion. He said, "Son Dam Bi has been a friend of mine for over ten years since before my debut... We are now like family... Whenever I meet up with Son Dam Bi, we joke around with each other a lot and behave like same sex friends without constraint... My dongsengs Sulli and Taeyeon are the same way but Son Dam Bi is a friend whom I can say everything that is on my mind to."

"Although some of those around me say, 'Like everyone else, you and Son Dam Bi could go from being close friends to lovers', our possibility of becoming a couple is 0%. I can confidently say that there is not even the slightest chance... Including Son Dam Bi, Sulli, and Taeyeon, they are friends and dongsengs who are like family and I definitely don't see them as women. They also don't see me as a man."

"I think I have loyalty to my friends and family-like women so I don't want to throw away that loyalty to approach them as a lover... How much of a waste would it be if a 10-year long friendship falls apart because something went wrong after I approached her in a romantic sense?... Son Dam Bi also definitely doesn't see me in that light... Because of that, we are able to freely call each other as 'my woman, my man' on broadcast... Although Son Dam Bi is like family, Son Dam Bi and I are not each other's type dating wise... I will continue to get along well with Son Dam Bi as true friends."
