The producers of 'Iris 2' have revealed that a character that died in the original 'Iris' will be making an appearance on the show.
The sequel to the original blockbuster features Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, as well as idols Lee Joon and Doojoon. The first 'Iris' was an incredible success, not only for starring Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, and T.O.P, but also because it was the first large-scale action drama in Korea.
The news that a deceased character would be appearing on 'Iris 2' would serve as an Easter egg to the original fans of 'Iris', and has also piqued the interest of many new potential viewers. 'Iris 2' said, "Since this drama is connected to Season 1, there are many points where viewers will be surprised. You'll feel like the past and the present is somehow eerily co-existing."
The drama will start airing next week on February 13th, after 'Jeon Woo Chi' ends this week on the 7th.
