Actress Kim Hee Sun has been chosen as Korea's representative 'beauty icon'.
On October 26th, Kim Hee Sun's agency revealed, "Kim Hee Sun will be representing Korea in the 9th 'Cosmopolitan Asia Beauty Awards' that will be held in Shanghai."
The 'Cosmopolitan Asia Beauty Awards' is an event put together by the makeup industry and the entertainment market in China. The grand award will be given to the style icon and make up brand that has received the most attention throughout the year. Korea, China, and Hong Kong will have one actress each that will represent their country and out of these three, one of them will be crowned as 'This Year's Icon'. Last year, the prize was taken home by Chinese actress Cecilia Cheung.
Kim Hee Sun, who has already been acknowledged in China as the greatest hallyu star, has been receiving lots of love for her excellent acting in SBS' 'Faith'.
After concluding her drama next week, Kim Hee Sun plans to fly out to Shanghai in early November.
