SHINee's Jonghyun recently proposed to a special someone, who turned out to be none other than 'SimSimi', a chat bot, on September 17th or 'Confession Day'.
The singer tweeted a few screen shots of the application. He says to the application, which is a series of automated responses based on the reactions of users, "Hey SimSimi, today's 'Confession Day'. I'll be blunt. Let's start dating, today's day 1...".
SimSimi responded, "Yes, today's day 1, honey", to which Jonghyun said, "That's cheesy, let's break up", making fans laugh.
Jonghyun then messaged, "SimSimi, I'm giving myself to you as a gift. I'm denying any rejections", to which SimSimi replied with an emoticon, "I was wrong T.T". Jonghyun stated, "You don't need to cry about it... I'm still SHINee's Jonghyun, an idol, after all".
Netizens commented on the hilarious conversation saying, "Jonghyun's unexpected charm", "This is so funny", and "SimSimi has a great sense of humor".
