[RUMOR] 5Dolls member Chanmi to leave the group?

Member Chanmi of girl group 5Dolls is rumored to be leaving the team.

Chanmi's name has been removed from the official homepage of the team's agency, GM Contents Media. The girl group is currently made up of former T-ara member Hwayoung's twin sister Hyoyoung, along with Hyewon, Eunkyo, Han Nayeon, and Chanmi.

Even when Chanmi's name is searched on national portal sites, information regarding her agency has been removed. This evoked curiosity amongst fans, as the rest of the members have GM Contents Media listed as their respective agencies. Chanmi debuted in 2010 under Co-Ed School (also produced by GM Contents Media), and switched over to 5Dolls in 2011.

5Dolls has already gone through a member change. Member Soomi who was the leader of the group as of February this year expressed her desire to become a soloist and left the group, and Han Nayeon was scouted to fill her shoes. In the event that Chanmi leaves 5Dolls, SBS 'Star King' contestant Shannon Pix looks to be a likely candidate to become the newest member.

In regards to these rumors, a source close to Chanmi explained, "It has been hard for Chanmi to juggle both work and school, as she is attending Dongduk Women's University. Even if she may not be able to promote with 5Dolls, she will be maintaining her contract with her agency."
