F.T. Island's Hongki expressed his excitement about being the new host of Mnet's 'M! Countdown' through nail art.
He was recently chosen as the new MC of the music program, and in honor of his new position, he now has the logo of 'M! Countdown' on his nails. Hongki prepared a special performance of BoA's hit song "No. 1" as well as his own rock cover of TVXQ's "Mirotic" and Shin Seung Hoon's "I Believe" on his first episode as host.
In other news, Mnet has implemented a new ranking system, which has been approved by the Korea Singers Association, Korean Entertainment Producer's Association, and KMP Holdings. The new system reduces the factor of fans votes so that the ranking more accurately reflects music chart sales.
