New still cuts of f(x)'s Sulli's transformation in her upcoming SBS drama, 'To the Beautiful You', have been released!
Scheduled to begin airing in August, Sulli will be playing the role of the bright and enthusiastic 'Goo Jae Hee' who disguises herself as a boy to transfer to 'Jini Athletic High School' and meets 'Tae Jun' (played by SHINee's Minho).
As she's playing a girl disguised as a boy, fans have been highly curious of her boyish image transformation, especially since she's always been known for her long, flowy hair. For the drama, however, she's cut nearly 60 cm of it off in reality visiting a salon before the filming, and showing her determination for her character by stating, "I want to transform into 'Goo Jae Hee' quickly."
She didn't hesitate at once about the cut but did end up shedding a few tears upon seeing her strands of hair on the floor.
Producers stated, "As it is her first drama where she's the leading role, she's showing much determination. She's working hard on expressing her character to the best of her ability, so please look forward to Sulli's transformation into 'Goo Jae Hee'."
