Rapper Defconn has confirmed earlier reports that he and comedian Jung Hyung Don would be releasing an album together as the duo group Hyung Don and Dae Joon.
It seems that many could not believe the news, which led Defconn to tweet on May 26, "This greeting is for all those of you who keep asking if it's a joke and keep doubting [the news is true]. Hello! This is rookie group 'Hyung Don and Dae Joon'." He also attached an image of the album jacket photo.
They revealed the group on MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol', which Jung Hyung Don is currently hosting, but viewers responded in disbelief, leaving comments like, "Wasn't it just a joke?"
Defconn continued, "The album took one year to create. Album producer: Hyung Don, Album composer/lyricist: Hyung Don, Genre: Gangster rap that anyone from 5 to 80 years of age can follow."
Hyung Don and Dae Joon will have their debut performance on May 30 KST at 6PM on 'Weekly Idol'.
