Why was the 'I AM' pre-screening suddenly cancelled?

SM Entertainment's upcoming documentary movie, 'I AM' suddenly cancelled its pre-screening on the day it was supposed to be held.

Originally, 'I AM' was scheduled to hold a pre-screening of the movie at CGV in Yeongdeungpo on April 30th at 4pm. A showcase was scheduled to follow the press conference at 7pm. However, hours before the pre-screening was supposed to be held, a release was sent out revealing the cancellation of the event.

According to a production representative, "It was determined in the morning that the pre-screening for 'I AM' would be cancelled in order to create a higher-quality product. We want to give an optimal experience in overall sound quality of the NYC performance footage as well as the interview clips."

Meanwhile, the showcase which was scheduled to follow the press conference was held as planned.
