JYP Entertainment lodged a compensation claim for 4.75 billion KRW (approximately $4.275 million USD)�against Wellmade STARM.
On April 18th, a representative from JYP Entertainment remarked, "On the 17th we filed a compensation claim at the Seoul District Court. It is in regards to 5 performances in North America which were cancelled at the time of Rain's world tour in 2007."
Wellmade STARM served as the production agency for Rain's performances at the time, and JYP Entertainment has been swept up in various lawsuits ever since the performance cancellations.
The total amount being requested, including breach of contract and all related legal fees amount to 4,750,000,000 KRW ($4.275 million USD).
