4minute, who have been making waves in the industry with their comeback track "Volume Up", have added another record to their list of accomplishments by topping a major weekly music video chart in China.
"Volume Up", which was released on April 9th, reached number 1 on the weekly chart of China's largest music portal site, Yinyuetai. The music video for the hot track generated huge amounts of interest from viewers, topping streaming and download charts.
The upgraded performance and stage that the girls showcased in the music video gained applause from many fans in China, further indicating a successful comeback. Reaching the top of the Yinyuetai chart is especially significant in that it reflects directly on the popularity of a music video based on the number of downloads as well as views.
In related news, 4minute won first place on the April 17th episode of�MBC's 'Show Champion' within a week of the release of "Volume Up".
