Contestant�Kim Na Yoon has pulled herself out of a huge slump on�SBS's 'K-Pop Star' with a strong performance on today's episode.
The 16 year old contestant has mostly received harsh criticisms from the judges, who were all disappointed by her inability to tap into her potential, as seen in her very first performance with Alicia Keys' "Fallin". All that changed today when Kim Na Yoon showed off her dramatic improvement through a cover of "Hit the Road Jack" by Ray Charles.
Her performance was strong, and�the judges were pleasantly surprised by her sudden improvement, especially Yang Hyun Suk who personally trained her for weeks. BoA happily shouted, "Welcome Back!" with open arms.
Ultimately, Kim Na Yoon scored first place amongst her group and secured a spot in the next round, which will be broadcasted live. �Son Mi Jin grabbed second place while Lee Seung Joo was officially eliminated from the show.
