Wonder Girls' Lim talks about her struggles as a JYP Entertainment trainee

Wonder Girls member Lim almost gave up on her dreams of becoming a singer. Lim was recently on set to film an episode of KBS 2TV's 'Story Show! Do Dream' where she admitted, "I wanted to give up on my dreams of being a singer because I was lonely." Lim who was the last to join the Wonder Girls opened up on what it was like to leave her parents at the young age of 14 to train to be a star. "I wasn't familiar with Korean culture at all and I hit a slump because of my loneliness. I decided I wanted to give it all up," she explained. "I wanted to be kicked out of the agency so I purposely started gaining weight," she continued. "What I hated the most was when my parents would call from Hong Kong and tell me to persevere in order to achieve my goals."
