MBC will go hard to re-sign Kang Ho Dong?

Not only does he have plans to exit '1 Night 2 Days', but MC Kang Ho Dong's contract with MBC also ends this September. A representative from MBC stated in an interview with Newsen, "It's true that Kang Ho Dong's contract will be up in September, but the '1N2D' issue is getting so out of hand, so it's not a good time to bring up the contract renewal issue right now." He continued, "However, he will most likely sign with us again since 'Knee-drop Guru' is a signature talk show." Rumors of Kang Ho Dong leaving '1N2D' quickly sprouted, as he expressed his desire to exit while he is still on top. There are talks of him accepting offers from SBS and that the entire cast of '1N2D' could be changed. Like wise, 'Knee-drop Guru' would be hard to air without the iconic MC.
