Kim Ji Soo fined 10 million won for her role in drunk driving accident

Actress Kim Ji Soo, who is best known for her role in Woman of the Sun, has been has been fined 10 million Won (~$8900) for her role in a drunk driving and hit and run accident. The Central Seoul�Prosecutor's�Office prosecuted her for her role in running from her car after hitting another vehicle. The actress was charged on October 5, 2010 in Seoul Chungdam-dong with running away from her car after hitting a taxi. After the �accident she announced through her agency "I drove after having several glasses of champagne and hit a car . I was so shocked and scared that I just wanted to flee the scene. I'm very sorry." On the other hand, during the police investigation, because Kim's blood alcohol content was 0.029%, less than the legal limit of 0.05%, she was able to dodge the drunk driving charge.
