S.E.S's Shoo to embark on a solo career

Shoo of S.E.S will be releasing a solo album in January 2010. Ever since the group disbanded in 2002, Shoo has been active in the musical theater scene in both Korea and Japan. This solo album marks the first time that Shoo will be releasing new material in to the K-pop scene in seven years. Although Bada and Eugene have both released materials as solo artists, Shoo has been the only one to shy away from releasing an album on her own, instead opting to only appear in musicals including Batboy and High School Musical. However, that all changed earlier this year, when during an interview, Shoo expressed interest in going solo musically. Shoo said, "After S.E.S disbanded, I received lots of offers to release a solo album, but I just didn't have the courage to brave the stage alone� Nowadays I'm listening to a lot of bossa nova and hard rock. I want to come back with something that S.E.S fans are not used to hearing." A representative from Shoo's management company also commented: "Shoo will most likely be releasing a mini album, and the songs will not be dance-heavy songs." Are you excited for Shoo's comeback?
