With Kangin currently under investigation for his involvement in an assault case on the 16th, his schedules are now being cancelled one after another. Kangin was originally scheduled to walk down the runway with Miss Korea 2009, Kim Joo Ri, modeling for Andre Kim's Gangnam Fashion Festival collection on 22nd September at the COEX Piano Fountain Square. But with Kangin's involvement in the assault case, he has now been dropped from the show. A spokesperson for Andre Kim revealed on the 17th, "Because of Kangin's involvement in a recent police case, we have decided to drop him from the show. We are now looking for someone to replace him and have yet to find a replacement." With Super Junior scheduled to perform at the 2009 Asia Song Festival on 19th September, Kangin's involvement is now in doubt with no statements from SM Entertainment at the moment. Kangin has strongly maintained his innocence throughout the investigations and fans are hoping for a favourable outcome for their idol.
