Ticket giveaway a hit with fans

There was great interest for the Asia Song Festival 2009 after the first download windows for tickets was opened on 21st August. A total of 20k tickets were snapped up by eager fans within 3 hours starting at 12pm from the official website. According to the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, "The free tickets download service was eagerly anticipated by everyone even before it was opened to the public. We received lots of calls from fans asking about the time, download process, etc. There were many fans who missed this first window of the ticket giveaway and inquired about the next window opening. This is an important music festival in Asia and we are thankful for all the support that the fans have shown us." It was also revealed that the second window for ticket giveaways will be on 4th September and the organizers will double the bandwidth for the website for that day compared to last year, so that fans can download the tickets as quickly as possible.
