Armed with their rockin' new single and a creatively crafted MV, F.T. Island completed the beginning of their return to the spotlight with performances of "Marry Me" and their single "I Hope" on SBS Inkigayo today. Here's the performance: The Primadonna-backed quintet also did the customary comeback interview: It's nice to see the boys again (how about Seunghyun's rap?), though I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Lee Hongki's hair. But, because of F.T. Island's promotions, Hongki is going to have to step down as co-emcee of SBS Inkigayo, and many will miss the dorky personality that introduced epic performances from many of our favorite stars. Though, I suppose it's better to actually be on stage instead of merely introducing the performers. Hopefully this strong performance is merely the forerunner of many more to come from our favorite don't-call-us-an-idol-group rock band.
