13-Year-Old Yoosung Is So Young

When I was twelve, I was playing Smash Bros and trying to get popcorn out of my braces. When Jang Giseop, aka Yoosung, was 12, he was preparing to release his first single, "Star". It's only fitting that "Yoosung" anagrams into "So Young." The 13-year-old (his birthday is on May 19th) released "Star" on the 18th, meaning that the guy wasn't even a teenager when he produced his first song. I feel old. This kid could even call SHINee's Taemin "hyung" and 2NE1's Gong Minji "noona". But, the new teenager better start cracking if he wants to catch BoA, who came out with her first album ID; Peace B when she was around 13 1/2 years old. The guitar playing, 5' 7" artist definitely does not look or sound like a 96-er. The single isn't anything to backflip over, but producing a listenable, professional song at the age of 13 is commendable. Good job, kid. Now go grow some armpit hair.
