Girls' Generation Most Sought After on Variety

Although they have finally relinquished their hold on the music charts, Girls' Generation is still the number one most sought after guests for variety shows. However, the people on the receiving end of the girls' words and deeds have been left rather perplexed. For example, the problem with Tiffany's violation on Sang Sang Plus Season 2 left Tak Jae Hoon rather flustered and made him a rather happy man. Soo Young was also blasted as "disrespectful" on the show because she used words that showed "no respect for seniors." Soo Young also startled netizens with the tough character she portrayed on Gold Miss and Infinity Challenge. But I think that the tough character fits her rather well though, especially since I saw her in Unstoppable Marriage with Yuri. Netizens need to stop getting all crazy just because she doesn't do the sugary-sweet Gee act offstage as well as on. Anti-fans Netizens have already started replying that, "I think Girls' Generation are really disrespectful towards their seniors.", but some of the more reasonable ones countered, "Since these were entertainment programs, it was nice to see their real personalities. In fact, it makes them seem more human and therefore was more fun to watch. I think netizens are making a big deal over nothing." Whoa. Is that a Korean netizen that actually makes sense? Will wonders never cease, I thought I'd never live to see the day when Korean netizens weren't gushing over their idols or bashing the crap out of them.
