Four teenagers were sentenced to prison time for gang raping a female high school student.
According to a police report, four 17-year-olds got the victim drunk outside while drinking together in May of this year. When the victim fell asleep, they took her to a motel and sexually assaulted her.
On December 14, the Jeonju Court sentenced the four male teens to prison time -- varying from 2 years and 6 months to 3 years with probation time.

The court stated, "Based on the method of the crime and the damage, we conclude that the crime was of a grave nature. Also, the victim is under great emotional distress...However, considering that the defendants are being repentant after a long time in jail, and they were able to settle with the victim, and the victim also asked they not be punished."
The judge added, "We also noted that there is a need for the young boys to be able to be reinstituted back into the society as normal citizens," explaining the light sentencing.

Believe me, if they're already this screwed up at 17, they will be much worse later on. Again another BS court ruling from the korean justice system. Only 2-3 effin years? if that's the case, then these rapist scums of society should at least have their balls and sticks smashed into oblivion. After they get released they should also, at all times, wear an item or clothing that will identify them as sex offenders. That way, it won't just be the victim who will be carrying a trauma and a stigma for the rest of her life.

No fuck those kids, they deserve YEARS upon years of prison time. I don't want rapists roaming freely in our world after a measly 2-3 years. They don't deserve a future. The second they decided to rape that poor girl, they screwed themselves over too.
