Ever wanted to make money doing whatever you wanted? Well this guy has trolled us all, earning millions of won a year simply eating in front of the camera and laughing at his audience.

So, what's the story behind this man and his maniacal laughter? Well, some of you may remember the CNN video below about a pretty Korean woman with a huge appetite that circulated around the internet a few months ago.

 

It's about a famous Korean online persona who goes by the name of 'The Diva'. Everyday at 8PM KST, she broadcasts a live stream of herself eating group-sized meals, and she earns approximately $110,000 USD per year doing so! 

She is capitalizing on a phenomenon in Korea known as 'mukbang', short for 'muknun bangsong' or "eating broadcast". Koreans enjoy this trend because they like living vicariously through the person feasting on all sorts of delicious food. People who are on diets, or people who simply don't have access to all that food, can enjoy it through 'mukbang'. Those who feel lonely at night can also choose to eat dinner with online personas like Diva rather than eating alone. 

Sounds like an awesome way to earn money, right? Well the cackling man we've introduced you to is very aware of it. One of the first to even start this trend of 'mukbang', the man, who goes by the name of 'The Loan Shark', earns around $150,000-$200,000 USD per year. The highest amount any 'mukbang' star has made is approximately $300,000 USD per year. That's a lot of dough to buy a lot of food!
