Gong Myung might be cast in his first ever main role.
An insider revealed, "Gong Myung is in the final stages of confirming his casting as the lead in the new Wednesday-Thursday KBS 2TV drama 'Mad Dog'. He's already met with the staff." Fantagio also confirmed, "It's true we're looking over it. We've met with the staff."

If cast in the role, Gong Myung will be playing the lead male role Kim Min Joon, a physicist in the 'Mad Dog' team. It'll be his first lead role.
The drama will air in September.
