5 K-Pop girl groups make it on Billboard's '100 Greatest Girl Group Songs Of All Time' List

Recently, Billboard revealed their list of the '100 Greatest Girl Group Songs Of All Time'.�The list included five idol girl groups representing K-Pop. �


Starting at number 88, first generation girl group Fin.K.L made their name known with the title song "Now" released in 2000. �Taking charge of 70th place was Red Velvet with "Dumb Dumb" released in 2015. �The description states, "There are pop hooks that grab you, and then there are hooks that strangle you and absolutely refuse to let go. Red Velvet's "Dumb Dumb" epitomizes that latter, with the quirky quintet repeating the word "dumb" more than 200 times throughout this single..." �Standing strong at 59th was f(x)'s "Rum Pum Pum Pum" from 2013.


Wonder Girls' hit song "Nobody" took the 43rd spot which was released in 2008. �Girls' Generation�was the top K-pop girl group on the list at 21 for their poppy tune "I Got a Boy"�released in 2012. �The description is as follows, "...I Got a Boy" is what happens when the greats strive to get greater, with this multi-genre, tempo-shifting Frankenstein's-monster jam that jumps from drum 'n' bass to bubblegum hooks to Aguilera-esque belt sections..."


Billboard's number one track for a girl group was�The Ronettes' "Be My Baby" released in 1963 and the list included other notable girl groups like the Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, Dream, and TLC.
