Jo Kwon made a guest appearance on the April 18 broadcast of�KBS 2TV's '1 vs. 100' where he talked about his mother's reaction to him cross-dressing.
When MC Jo Choong Hyun asked, "Your cross-dressing has become quite a sensation."
Jo Kwon then commented, "I had the opportunity to cross dress while on a program. �Many people were wondering 'who is that lady?' after seeing my transformation. �When they found out it Jo Kwon, they talked negatively about me. I also dressed like Beyonce and SISTAR as well."

The MC then�asked, "What were some of the reactions you've got?" �The singer commented, "My mother said, 'I don't think you came from my womb.' Sometimes, she sends me text messages saying, 'Hey daughter, what are you up to?',"�causing the audience to laugh.
