A 'Produce 101' season 2 contestant is already embroiled in rumors.

An alleged elementary and middle school classmate of contestant Han Jong Yeon posted on his Facebook,

I heard you are coming out on TV. I still cry while waking up from dreams when you appear. I still want to die when I hear your name and see your face. I worried that if I post this, you and your friends would do something to me or my friends, but I'm no longer the cowardly child, or the child who played by himself. Produce 101, keke. I hope you go high. I'll bring you down to the ground. I still can't forget you making me masturbate in front of others when I was in elementary school, making me fight other classmates by calling us Pokemon, stuffing me in the supply closet and making me skip lunch. But do you even remember me? The number of people you made suffer aren't just one or two. I went back and forth between life and death during elementary school and middle school because of you. You were the school bully during elementary school and middle school. I'll give you back the pain you gave me.
If anyone wants to talk to me about this, FB message me.
If you threaten me or say you'll come find me, I'll retaliate with legal measures.

I was giving him the benefit of doubt. Since it has been partially confirmed, there now the question: was it actually Jong Yeon (and the label is trying to put down the fire by saying they'll take legal actions) or was it another guy in the same class? You know, victims' minds can get pretty messed up and mix one memory with the other. I still give the guy the benefit of doubt.

BOYS24 didn't nearly have this many scandals, and all the scandals that did come out came after the actual show aired ._. Hwayoung is tame compared to this

Since people on the internet have a knack for making up shit, this needs to be looked into first before anyone starts flying off the handle.

Unfortunately it won´t even help if the truth comes out. This happened so many times before and the rumour alone is enough to destroy whatever career the falsely accused had before.

Well, there is always someone who gets caught in a scandal, just waiting to make sure it's true, and if it is, that's horrible...

After making the other masturbate, I highly doubt the two are friends.

true, very true but why at this particular one person in this reality tv show though? out of all of the celebs (male), this victim points to this Han guy?

Funny how all these "victims" gather all their courage together and go public with their stories as soon as their tormentors step on a stage. And for this case: Kids in elementary school are 6 - 12 years old (in western years). With all due respect, but unless korean kids are sexually precocious I highly doubt that they are physically capable to masturbate at all. Bullying is really bad, that´s nothing to doubt about -  I´m just a little confused why these bullied People go full public after years of not even telling their parents about it.

They probably have told their parents, either that or word got around. But, like most parents, they chose not to do anything about it, and as he said, he wants to give him the same pain that he brought to him. Maybe he was waiting on the day that the kid became just slightly famous to do that.

Actually u are capable of masturbation at that age, I can recall something similar happened when I was that age (8/9), one of the older kids forced one of my friends to masturbate in front of his "girlfriend", then forced her to do the same; when u are bullied ofc you don't go around talking about it to ur parents, it's a mix a shame and fear; u rather try to forget it and act like it didn't happen; as for why they step up when they see their bullies on TV, it seems understandable to me, u grow older, u are building urself far from that past, and then u put tv on and see the bully, as u are not afraid anymore u speak up. Don't know if that particular story is true or not, but it's not illogical nor impossible.

The reason why there's a lot of suicide cases (bullying related) is because the victim can tell it no one. They tend to keep it to themselves for fear of a lot of things. So, obviously, even years after, victims are still victims. And I think the reason why this victim chose to speak now is because probably there was no way he could see his bully before so when he finally saw him on TV, this time, he felt man enough to stand against him.

Yeah, writing an accusation on social media isn´t that tough. Anyone can create a fake profile anytime. No one knows if the accusations are real, but the rumour alone is enough to destroy careers. As I said before: bullying is terrible and should be punished severly, but I highly doubt the truth content of all these accusations appearing short after someone makes steps into the entertainment business. The other way said: it´s a bit strange how all victims get courageous once they see their tormentors appearing on screen.

because they were just children and at that age they are still learning some in a good way and some in a bad way...now that they are a lot older they are more mature enough to handle this situation and take action against their enemies..The victims now know the laws and what legal action to take against their tormentor...

also y hasn;t this Han guy come out yet to defend himself at all costs? he is way too too quiet in this hot ass mess that can seriously ruin whatever chance he is trying to make it in this music business...He seriously needs to say something ASAP because the more he sits back and says nothing the more guiltier he is looking IMHO..Just say something to defend yourself cause this 'alleged' victim is sounding like a "Mariah Carey" with all of these accusations being thrown at this Han guy...

"After learning of these truths, our agency went to meet the victims of Han Jong Yeon to personally apologize for his actions and to assure that Han Jong Yeon is in deep reflection." -Maroo Entertainment

Thank you for your lovely Quotation. Maybe you should have read the article until the end. "Maroo Entertainment stated, "It's confirmed with the poster that the classmate involved with provocative acts such as forced masturbation is, in fact, not Han Jong Yeon. We plan to take strict legal action against malicious rumors." " One day, when you are long enough into KPop, you will learn that apologizing and reflecting deeply on "faults" is something as common for Idols as using the bathroom. Only having the "wrong" background on a selfie will force them to apologize and reflect at least for a month. That´s not at all a proof for a real fault . And one thing more: people like you, who come round the corner with only half-truths are the reason for all those disastrous rumours that can destroy young Idols´ lives in the most hurtful way. This is nothing different from a bully.
