Turns out, NU'EST's Baekho participated in PRISTIN's debut mini album!

Fans who bought PRISTIN's debut mini album noticed that Baekho was listed as a vocal director for songs "Be the Star", "Black Widow", and "Running". It's no surprise as NU'EST members are all musically talented, and are sunbaes in the same label Pledis Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Baekho is currently filming 'Produce 101' under his real name Kang Dong Ho.

if there is anyone on this planet who should not be in class F on this planet, its him. he is a vocal powerhouse even after vocal surgery. the boys at the top have this prissy clean look which i guess must be strictly to cater to females.

I've always loved every one of their comebacks, and the songs consisted in their albums are always on point. Couldn't ask for more from Nuest, honestly. They're that one group that no matter how much you bias another, you can take another glance at Nu'Est and love them all over again. So many memories with them.

What does a vocal director do exactly

I guess give vocal advice/training...but basically teaching and guiding others on how to sound better or improve

A vocal director (to my understanding) gives an example of how to sing the song (like which note you'll sing or if you'll use vibrato) and they change the song to the liking of the singer

All of their members are talented, good looking and funny. I don't know what else fans could possibly want.

Because their company don't promote them as much. I don't know if the company has any other groups but Nu'est need more exposure.

Marketing is the cause of their down fall. They are poorly marketed compared to Seventeen and Pristin.

Of course, I'm just confused about Pledis not at least giving them a bit of cushion so they could at least support themselves. The bit they did have from their debut should have given them a boost, so they shouldn't be where they are now, even in the worst case scenario.

Pledis shipped them off to Japan instead of letting them build a good solid fan base in Korea

Pledis also has Seventeen, and legit, they're hardcore promoting SVT because right now, that's the group that's making them money. It's almost like they've given up on Nu'Est, and that's just not fair because they failed to promote the talents they have back when they debuted Nuest in 2012

It is still the best debut of all time. They got beaten by TWICE now but still hold the trophy for best boy group debut. Sadly, thats the only achievement they got so far...
