TWICE's 'Knock Knock' holds 24-hour view record for only a few minutes as BTS sets new YouTube record

AKP STAFF
BTS, TWICE
That was fast... literally. Last week, BTS set a new recordon YouTube for being the K-Pop group that got the most views within 24 hours with "Spring Day" achieving 9.4 million views on the first day. Now, that record has been surpassed twice.

TWICE's "Knock Knock" MV was released exactly at midnight on February 20 KST and after 24 hours it set a new record for the first 24 hours with 9.8 million views. However, BTS had other plans and said, "Not Today." As many of you know, BTS delayed their release on YouTube as it was first released on Naver's 'V' app, so the MV was actually uploaded around 30 minutes after midnight KST. Regardless, BTS has set a new record because "Not Today" reached 10.9 million views for the first 24 hours.

Congratulations to both groups!

  1. BTS
  2. TWICE
  3. KNOCK KNOCK
  4. NOT TODAY
