EXID will be promoting as 4 following Solji's diagnosis of hyperthyroidism.

On December 20, EXID's agency Banana Culture Entertainment announced, "Solji recently showed symptoms, such as fever and protruding eyeballs among other issues. In order to prevent fans from worrying, she underwent a medical examination immediately."

The agency continued, "In the end, a specialist diagnosed her with hyperthyroidism. For now, she'll focus on rest and treatment."

Hopefully, Solji feels better soon!

This is just a simple mediacal condition not a sickness to rest. I got diagnaosed as a child got a daily pill for a couple of years with blood checks each 6 months, until the doctor told me its over. No one stops work and rest for this. You could do sports any hardwork without any trouble.

This depends on the pt's condition. Sometimes people have something that's called a thyroid storm which requires more immediate medical attention. Could be that she's having a thyroid storm especially because she has a fever.

I mean, 2016 will be suck or not based from what your fandom is. For example, i'm an ONCE and ARMY and 2016 is the best because TWICE break records and they did well this year and BTS won daesang and WINGS did well. Understand?

Is this the moment where I should become crazy fan girl and be like "OMG! We will be on same medication for the rest of our life"  but seriously it gets better almost right away when you get your dosage right for you.

"Protruding eyeballs?" That means she has Graves' disease. Graves' is the cause in the majority of hyperthyroidism cases around the world. Protruding eyeballs during hyperthyroidism occur uniquely as a result of Graves' disease. Hyperthyroidism can be caused by other reasons too and not just as a result of Graves' disease, but in those cases the eyeballs do not protrude. That's why the description of Solji's case makes it clear that her hyperthyroidism is the result of Graves' disease. By the way, that's an autoimmune disease. Outside the US it's usually treated with medications which must be given for six months up to two years to be effective, or surgical removal of the thyroid glands.
