TWICE's Nayeon performed a song with her mom on stage during '2016 KBS Gayo Festival,' as a thank you to her for all the support and love. However, some netizens are unhappy about both the concept of the stage and the idol's singing ability.

Here are some of the most voted up comments from a Nate article that reported on her special stage:

"Wow, she was really bad at singing. LOL. I was listening to the TV in my room and heard it and was wondering, who is this bad at singing? I came out to the living room to find out. Just an average person is better at singing than her. Seriously."

"Honestly, the singing was terrible."

"It's not her solo concert. Why would they bring her mom to a stage like this."

"VIXX Ken was great, but unfortunately, she went right after him. She couldn't even hit the high notes. I felt embarrassed for her."

You can watch the performance in the video above. What do you guys think about Nayeon's singing and the concept of the performance?

What's the point of training idols if they still can't sing for the life of them? ._. People need to stop defending this shitty system.

It's not the worst, onces have to admit that Nayeon isn't all that great of a singer, she's more visual than singer.

Err, she didn't sing that badly, it was quite good.....just Some shaky high ones. Maybe out of deference to her mom

Okay it wasn't as bad as people are describing it to be but considering she like the second lead vocal and she was sitting down. Omg I just got to the near the end god that was pretty awful.

She's actually the 1st lead vocal (Jungyeon is 2nd lead vocal). So that makes matters worse. But I believe she'll get better.

Honestly, it wasn't even that bad. But maybe she was just nervous? I mean she was singing with her mum onstage..

I think this level is okay, maybe she was nervous, or even touched that her mom is there, that's why her voice shivered...??
