The date for the appeals trial between Kim Hyun Joong and Ms. Choi has been set.
The pair will meet once again in court on January 11, 2017. Previously, Ms. Choi lost her lawsuit against Kim Hyun Joong during which she had demanded 1.6 billion KRW (approximately 1.4 million USD) in damages; hence, she had submitted an appeal on August 24. Kim Hyun Joong had also submitted an appeal against her appeal.
He had won his legal battle with Ms. Choi and the court had dismissed all of Ms. Choi's charges, instead sentencing her to pay 100 million KRW (approximately 850,000 USD) to him. Now the appeals trial is up next!
