Super Junior's Kyuhyun will be taking a temporary break due to vocal cord nodules, or growths on one's vocal cords.
On August 22, SM Entertainment announced, "Kyuhyun is in need of treatment for vocal cord nodules. After receiving doctor recommendations for a break, he will temporarily halt all activities and focus on his recovery for the next 2-3 weeks."

Kyuhyun has been a part of ongoing musical 'Mozart' since June, but due to his poor throat conditions, he will not be performing in the upcoming shows scheduled on September 3-4. He will also miss his 'Radio Star' recordings for the next 2 weeks.
