During an interview with Sports Chosun, Linah was asked if she ever felt overwhelmed by gaining attention as Minah's sister. She answered, "It would be a lie if I say I am not overwhelmed at all, but I am trying my best to not be a shame to Minah." Linah then revealed, "To be honest, Minah stopped me at first (from debuting in a girl group), because she knows how hard it is to go far. But after I debuted, she encouraged me by saying that she trusts me, and told me to work hard. It was very touching."
However, Linah also revealed that they often get in fights, and said, "We fight a lot over clothes. Minah calls me and cries whenever I take hers. I also do the same when she takes mine, and I keep calling her until she comes back home. Then Minah comes back crying, and eventually returns my clothes to me. She's actually nice. People often say we are like Deok Sun and Bora from 'Reply 1988'."
