SM Entertainment is continuing its legal fight against Kris, Luhan, and Tao, who are all currently active in the Chinese entertainment industry.

On June 28, the agency announced it had formally filed 14 lawsuits in Chinese court against companies that are supporting the three "former" EXO members' promotions in China. Following SME's 9 cases in 2015, a total of 14 cases have been filed this year. SME has stated it's taking legal action as they've infringed upon the interest of EXO.

The label further restated that it considers Kris, Luhan, and Tao's activities in China as illegal violations of their contracts as SME artists. SME also stated the lawsuits are intended to mature the culture of both countries as well as to confirm the importance of intellectual property and contracts.

Think of it as a relationship, one side could be abusive, one side could be hurt, or you both are probably just making up lies to cover up things that you were gonna do, what you have done, or what you want to do. We really don't know who's the bad guy. There's probably no bad guy. Why don't you just listen to both sides before you say anything bad about anybody. Anything could happen, Everything could be a lie too. Hating makes you look stupid so don't do that, it's funny so don't.

These Chinese backstabbed SM, claimed that they're sick or can't handle contract and then they went back to China & signed up another contracts and filled up with schedule. These Chinese boys used SM to get fame. This is why Kpop industry is now reluctant to sign up foreigners.

What I find funny is how you're using "Chinese" as if it's an insult. They aren't just "Chinese," but they are humans as well.

Just because they don't have bad health now, it doesn't mean they didn't back then with SM. The difference being that they can choose their projects now and stop working anytime they want to.

What you guys say is true, BUT, the fact is that they are still in contract with SM, and SM has the right to do exactly what they're doing right now, because of that contract. I would say Luhan and Kris has a better chance at winning, but honestly I feel like SM might win.

Under contract or not, unethical treatment nullifies a contract. That is what is up to the courts to decide. You dpnt put up with shit, just cause you signed a stupid contract. Human rights trump contracts.

it is up to the court to decide but if all that were true, the contract would have already been nullified. Since the issue is still going on....this proves that SM still has a hand over the entire situation. its all about the money man...

No, it doesn't prove anything. If the contract were legit and SM were in the right, the courts would have thrown out the case long ago or ruled against Kris/Luhan/Tao. It's just that they are Korean after all , and would probably prefer to stand behind their own by allowing SM to keep at it.

It does prove something, it proves that although they want the contract nullified, there is no proof that will convince the court that SM has violated anything WITHIN the contract. Its on going because you're right there was SPECULATION of mistreatment. I'm just saying that SM doesn't mind taking a long time to deal with them because they gain publicity through it all (even if its bad publicity) and not only that, they build up their case that while still under contract, these three guys are promoting and signing on to other companies. Overall we can't really say whats going to happen, unless we all have the contract and read through all the clauses. I hope SM loses the case, BUT I seriusly think SM will win as well because they're wealthy, and they can manipulate alot of things as well.
