Gong Yoo confirmed for 'Descendants of the Sun' writer's next project!

Previously, it was reported that actor Gong Yoo was looking over Kim Eun Sook's new piece with good intentions, and it looks like he's finally made a decision! On April 20, Kim Eun Sook revealed, "[Gong Yoo] is an actor I've always had high expectations of. While we haven't had an opportunity to work together in the past due to situation conflicts, I've always wanted to work on a romantic comedy piece with Gong Yoo. When I met up with Gong Yoo at a personal gathering, I saw what a luxurious actor he was, and became certain that he would be the best actor for the the lead character in 'Goblin'. I'm very thankful that he accepted the offer. It's going to be a fun project." 

Kim Eun Sook's new tvN drama, thus-far titled 'Goblin', will tell the odd story of a goblin and a grim reaper, who happen to begin working together to help the dead pass through to the next world. 'Goblin' will also be actor Gong Yoo's return to the small-screen in 4 years. 

'Goblin' starring the handsome Gong Yoo is set to air some time in November!
