J.Y. Park announced that the young singer will be making her solo debut on 'K-Pop Star 4', the same show she won in its first season. He shared the news through his
on March 31, posting, "Park Ji Min has finished preparing to make her first step as a solo singer and will be making her debut on the 'K-Pop Star' stage."
The JYP Entertainment CEO also had praise for his artist, continuing, "What's more difficult than being a popular singer is a forever singer. You can become a popular singer with the right song, company employees, and good luck, but a forever singer needs to live a good, honest lifestyle, good basics, and a healthy mindset to be possible."
He went on, "Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin were made into a team so they can practice, learn, and lean on each other, and thankfully, they took on each other's strong suits and matured throughout the past 3 years. I'm touched just by thinking of seeing her solo debut."
'K-Pop Star 4' will air Park Ji Min's debut solo stage on April 5 KST, so don't miss it!
