While fans were super excited to see EXO at 'The 4th GAON Chart Kpop Awards,' they were saddened to see that Xiumin was not in attendance. SM Entertainment laid fans' curiosity to rest by explaining that Xiumin had been feeling too unwell at the time to make the event.
During the award ceremony, when EXO stepped up to take the '2nd quarter' award, leader Suho thanked his family at SM and stated, "We will accept this honor with Xiumin, who was unable to be with us today."

Afterwards, fans showed their concern on the internet regarding Xiumin's absence. Their worries were slightly helped by a response from an SM Entertainment rep, who told Newsen, "Xiumin was unable to participate due to bodily aches." Bodily aches usually include symptoms like a fever and body temperature changes.
Hopefully, he's getting a lot of rest and will get better soon!
