Singer-actor Jaejoong revealed that he would be choosing 30 North Korean defectors and gifting them with appliances if his upcoming drama, 'Spy,' reached 10% in ratings.
He said during a recent press conference for the drama at Seoul Ritz-Carlton hotel, "If 'Spy' reaches over 10% in viewer rating then I will gift big and small home appliances to 30 defectors."
Jaejoong also added, "Spy' does not give off the vibe of a public KBS drama. The scenes and chemistry that are [usually] prohibited at KBS will be shown without restrictions this time. In addition, airing two episodes a day is our drama's strong point."
Spy' will be based on the Israeli drama 'MICE'. Jaejoong will be acting as the character Sun Woo, who is a genius, national intelligence service agent that analyzes information regarding North Korea. As an interesting combination of family and thriller genres, the drama will focus on Sun Woo's relationship with his mother, a former spy, who will be played by Bae Jong Ok.
