Following 'Mama Shin' (Shin Sung Woo)'s exit from SBS' 'Roommate', viewers were left wondering whether or not his roommate EXO's Chanyeol would stay on for the 2nd season. A new report has come now to reveal that according to insiders, Chanyeol has also decided to leave the show, while comedian Lee Kuk Ju is said to be joining the new lineup!

Regarding the insider statements, the staff of 'Roommate' confirmed the leave of Chanyeol and the addition of Lee Kuk Ju. "Due to his busy schedule, it has become difficult for Chanyeol to participate in the filming so he has decided to leave... Comedian Lee Kuk Ju will be joining after confirming her appearance with us yesterday (11th KST)," a rep stated.

At the moment, season one members Jo Se Ho, Lee Dong Wook, After School's Nana, 5urprise's Seo Kang Jun, and Park Min Woo remain while Girls' Generation's Sunny, g.o.d's Park Joon Hyung, GOT7's Jackson, and Lee Kuk Ju have so far been added to the lineup.

The new filming is expected to take place on the 13th for the premiere of season 2 on September 21st!

[Update] -- Japanese actor and model Ryohei Otani will also join the new lineup. 'Roommate' PD Park Sang Hyuk told Newsen on the 11th, "Ryohei Otani has been confirmed to join 'Roommate'."
