Gwangju-Jeonnam's�Life Sharing Practice Organization (Nanum24) rep told Star News, "Suzy donated 50 million KRW (~48,000 USD) which we sent to the Community Chest of Korea's Gwangju branch... Suzy quietly made this donation by herself from the beginning."�Suzy reportedly made her donation on the 22nd through her mom to help in the way that she could in the tragic incident. When the media asked about this, JYP Entertainment revealed they had no prior knowledge about her gesture.�
Suzy's donation will be used for the Sewol relief effort, and the victims and bereaved families' daily necessities being provided at the scene.
