Their agency DreamT Entertainment stated, "Girl's Day's 'Expectation' has been confirmed by the Gaon Chart reps to be the winner of this year's long-run song award at the '3rd Gaon Chart K-POP Awards' and were invited to the awards ceremony on February 12."
"Expectation" definitely exceeded expectations by staying in the Top 50 of the Gaon Digital Chart for 15 consecutive weeks since its release on March 14 last year and continued to rise up the tiers of girl groups with "Female President" and "Something".
Girl's Day responded, "We are joyful that 'Expectation' has been receiving love from fans for so long, and we will definitely attend the awards ceremony... Girl's Day will consistently work hard to become a girl group who receives love from K-pop fans for a long time."
