According to Gaon Music Chart, 26% of all the tracks that made #1 this year were ballads. Ballad songs that received a lot of love include Huh Gak & Yoo Seung Woo's "Monodrama", K.Will's "Love Blossom", Davichi's "Melting", Lyn's "Tonight", Lee Seung Chul's "My Love", and 2AM's "One Spring Day".
The genres of Rap / RnB and OSTs (soundtracks) tied for 2nd for 18% of the time, while idol dance music was 3rd with 16%.
