miss A's contract with JYP Entertainment to expire in 2017 and Sunmi's contract to expire a year earlier

Questions about Suzy's contract expiration date with JYP Entertainment were finally put to rest with the reveal of miss A's contract term. Sunmi's contract term was also revealed to be ending a year earlier in 2016.

As one of JYPE's breadwinners, Suzy and her ties to the label have been a topic of discussion. According to JYP Entertainment's quarterly reports for Q3 and Q4 2013, miss A's contracts expire on March 31, 2017. miss A will also be solely managed under JYP Entertainment from now on following the liquidation of its sub-label AQ Entertainment.

It has also been revealed that Sunmi's contract, which she signed on December 2006 as a member of the Wonder Girls, will expire a year earlier than miss A's on April 24, 2016.
