While KARA started their Japanese concert tour on the 8th, their Japanese fans gathered in front of the Yokohama Arena on the 9th to start a fan petition with this topic: 'Assure the continuation of Nicole's activities with KARA.'

Fans who made their way to the arena are actively participating in the petition in hopes of seeing Nicole remain as a KARA member. �The petition will be a relay of sorts as it plans to follow KARA throughout their Japanese tour to seven different locations including Yokohama,�Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya. �After the concert tour is completed, the fans will gather all the signatures they managed to get and deliver them to DSP Media.

One representative said, "Fans understand the part where Nicole decided not to have another exclusive contract with DSP Media. �It's just that even if Nicole were to sign an exclusive contract with another agency, we hope that DSP Media will allow her to continue activities as a member of KARA."�

In addition, KARA's contract with Universal Music, which is their Japanese distributor, will expire in December so fans are taking this chance to vocalize their thoughts that they will not accept KARA if Nicole is excluded, making it highly likely that a contract renewal with Universal Music or a completely new contract with another company will be very difficult if things do not go their way.
