They should have more categories aside from singing & dancing.

K-Pop enthusiasts can go their whole lives without singing or dancing, what about them?

How about "Best Spontaneous Crying At The Sight Of Their Bias", or an obstacle course where contestants have to maneuver to get a cellphone pic of a moving target, or a "Most Chill Fan" category where they shake an Idol's hand without spazzing.

Seriously, the continental U.S. gets Kpop Concerts. Be grateful, you guys. There is no such thing in Hawai'i, no kpop concerts at all. We'd have to fly regardless to get anywhere near Kpop Idols, unless they film a MV scene here.

ლ(ಠ益ಠლ *grabs your logic and throws it out the window* let the rest of the usa have something. Kpop idols always go to the west coast.

YAWN

LA gets Kcon and the Korean Music Festival and even the former nugu South America out of all places has the opportunity to see SUJU and TVXQ live and all we here in NEW YORK have to show is some "k-pop festival" consisting of ZERO idols.

@daehyunzelo nope the ONLY thing we have to show for this year, is that overpriced BAP concert, as of rite now LA, Europe, and South America are getting 100x more love from K-pop then NYC which is funny considering SME made a whole movie revolving around their Madison Square Garden concert

So for people joining this event. Make sure you can at least have a conversation in Korean and your pronunciation is good.

really? I would think they would have translators. Even though I'm not going, I appreciate the heads up as I'm sure others will. :D

@ClassicGummyBear No Problem, but that's what my friend told me bc. he went for the SM audition and the judge was talking in Korean and a couple of people didn't understand lol. You can sing in English or your language but if you do get in and pass. Your going to have to learn korean anyways so yeah but it a little easier knowing the basics.

But i thought it was just a festival where you perform and enjoy Korean culture/Kpop. Is it an audition?

@music1 I went last kpop festival, but everyone spoke English including judge. We don't care about Korean.

@ashleygthetwin yes, but it's not typical audition. It's kind of culture event which share k-culture. I have a plan to come this event again.
