Crayon Pop will be joined by a Japanese member for their Japanese promotions!

The CEO of their label Chrome Entertainment revealed, "At the earliest, Crayon Pop's Japanese member 'Arisa' will be revealed at the May 19th's concert." For confused fans, he confirmed, "They will have 6 members in Japan and 5 members in Korea."

The new member's full name is Sekine Arisa, and she seems to be an exchange student at Dongguk University in Korea judging by the tweets exchanged between a fan and the CEO.

He also confirmed Crayon Pop's rumored comeback, saying, "Their comeback is soon..." for all the eager fans who had been asking.

Are you looking forward to the new Crayon Pop?

WUT? Sometimes I wonder what Korean entertainment companies are thinking. They keep adding members left and right, like they think that more is always better. So often when a group has started doing fine, they decide to add another member as if that's what the group needs. What's the point of having part-time sixth member in Crayon Pop? How can it possibly make the group better?
