Figure skater Kim Yuna has become the 7th highest paid female athlete in the world.

Forbes recently�released a list of the "Top 10 Highest Paid Female Athletes in the World", in which Forbes reported that Kim Yuna made�10,200,000,000 KRW or ~$9 million US dollars just in the past year.

The full list of the highest paid female athletes includes:

1st: Maria Sharapova (Russia) - $27.1 million

2nd: Li Na (China) - $18.4 million

3rd: Serena Williams (USA) - $16.3 million

4th: Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark) - $13.7 million

5th: Danica Patrick (USA) - $13 million

6th: Victora Azarenka (Belarus) - $9.6 million

7th: Kim Yuna (Korea) - $9 million

8th: Ana Ivanovic (Serbia) - $7.2 million

9th: Agnieszka Radwanska �(Poland) - $6.9 million
