Korea seems to be hooked on MBC's 'I Am a Singer', as it's been announced that Mnet will be coming out with a special version for actors! CP Kim Hyun Joong revealed that the program is currently well underway in its preparations, and hinted that the format will be similar to 'I Am a Singer', where actors will compete in a show of vocal talent. A representative said, "The program is looking at a release date of sometime in October. We're currently casting actors with outstanding vocal talent, and some are in discussions already." Like 'I Am a Singer', the songs they'll be singing will be released in the digital music market. CP Kim Hyun Joong said, "We are still in the preparation stages, so it's hard to give any details. In order to add more depth to the program, we're trying to come up with different styles." Stay tuned to allkpop for more updates! Source + Photos: Segye via Nate
