'Infinity Challenge' donates $230,000 to students

The MBC variety program 'Infinity Challenge' has announced that it has donated all of the proceeds from its annual calendar sale to benefit disadvantaged students.

At a ceremony today, the program and representatives of MBC donated over 250 million won (approximately $230,000 USD) to 174 students in elementary, middle, and high school. The disadvantaged students were selected on the basis of household funds, family member status, and only having a single parent.

This isn't the first time that the variety program has donated to those in need. Ever since the show has started printing annual calendars, beginning in 2008, all of the proceeds have gone to charity. Also, all of the music sales from the various 'Infinity Challenge' music competitions over the years have all been donated as well.
